Submissions

We welcome manuscripts from judges, professors, practitioners, and students throughout the year.

What to send

  • The manuscript as a Word document, with footnotes in Bluebook form
  • A short abstract and a CV or brief biography
  • For interview proposals, the subject and a short description of the topics you would cover

Our policies

  • You keep your copyright. Authors grant the Review the right to publish and distribute their work; the copyright stays with the author. Interviews conducted by the Review are the Review’s copyright.
  • No AI-drafted work. We do not consider work substantially drafted with artificial intelligence or large language models. If AI is necessary to your piece’s scholarly contribution, tell us when you submit.
  • Sources in other languages. Include the original and an English translation of any source not in English.
  • Editing. Our editors will suggest edits, and nothing is published until you and the Review both approve the final version.

The full terms are set out in the agreement each author signs with the Review.
